TRAIL – Whispering Pines Hiking Trail (Wolf Creek National Fish Hatchery)

Within the Kendall Recreation Area on Corps of Engineers grounds in Jamestown, Kentucky, the Whispering Pines trail is a very gentle hiking trail. The Wolf Creek National Fish Hatchery Nature Explorer Hiking Trail connects to this trail.

TRAIL – Nature Explorer Hiking Trail (Wolf Creek National Fish Hatchery)

This 3/4-mile hiking trail in Kentucky winds its way through a variety of ecosystems before returning to the Wolf Creek National Fish Hatchery Visitor’s Center. Along the trail, you’ll see whitetail deer, wild turkeys, rabbits, squirrels, songbirds, insects, reptiles, and amphibians.

Russell County Sportsman’s Club Skeet and Trap Shooting

The Russell County Sportsman’s Club located near Lake Cumberland features a trap and skeet range, pistol, rifle, shotgun ranges and an archery range.
